Severe Summer Weather

Severe weather like high winds, tornadoes and hail have caused damage and disrupted utilities across Alberta this summer. If a warning is issued in your area, have a plan so you can quickly respond.  

#BePrepared to weather any storm with these simple steps:

- Get informed and stay informed with the WeatherCAN and the Alberta Emergency Alert apps.

- Have a plan for shelter. If you are indoors find a small interior windowless room like a closet, bathroom or hallway. If you are outdoors find a sturdy place to take cover or get low and    protect your head from flying debris.     

- Gather supplies like water, snacks and medications.
