Emergencies can happen anywhere, at any time, and affect every member of your household differently, including your pets. Keep your pets safe and #BePrepared by:

• Practicing sheltering in place with your pets in identified safe locations so they become familiar with where to go.
• Creating a pet profile card with critical information on your pet in case of an evacuation. Keep both a digital copy and a printed copy attached to your pet’s carrier.
• Developing a pet emergency plan that considers their unique needs, such as stressors, transport requirements, sociability, food or medications, and a contact list of pet-friendly places they can stay during an emergency.
